It’s quite usual to take up New Year Resolutions. But, the resolutions, if you ask me, should be something practically possible and it should reasonably be related to our interests. Below are my New Year Resolutions that fall within my widespread interests.
Life:
I want to follow what I preach is the best for life for others, for, advising is the easiest job in the world. Also, I take an oath to stop giving the future any thoughts.
Parents:
Parents may sometime make you feel that life is too hard. But, it’s up to us to tolerate the hard times imposed by our parents on us, for, they do it for our good. So, I take an oath to be a good son for my parents, like I’ve all along been.
God:
I vow that I would spend at least 5 minutes in front of a God’s portrait everyday and I would pray for the welfare of those who’re concerned about my welfare. For all others, all I can say is, I’ll pray for you too in the last 10 seconds of the 5 minutes duration.
Friends:
Friends form the most vital part of my life. I wish to be on their side to share their lows, if not their highs, and I wish to see how they celebrate when they’re happy. Also, I pledge to accept their treats with no hesitations henceforth.
Girls:
Often, boys get carried away just by glancing at the beautiful flowing hair girls might have and the highly concentrated perfumes that the girls might use. I take an oath not to fall for these and I, hereby, take an oath not to go behind girls. Instead, I would run to the front, have a clean look at them before I could sense the nose-smoldering effect of the perfumes and would then jump to conclusions.
Money:
I take an oath to completely sell off all my old books for money and I pledge to show my dad new ways to spend his money.
Hangouts:
I promise to try out all the well-known hangouts in Chennai at any cost before leaving this city that owns all the pride in this beautiful green world.
Happy New Year dudes and Dudettes!!!
