A day tat was worth roamin..

Had a great time today..Woke up as early as 7.30.a.m..Was watchin CNN-IBN for de next 2hrs..It was so interestin to c BJP win de Gujarat elections..I thought they were on de losin side..I expected them to lose atleast in sum of de areas wich BJP considered quite prominent..Lemme make it clear..I hate all de politicians..Jus tat it was too interestin to c these guys talk abt each other, sumtimes usin grubby languages, n take on each other..I've heard of ppl makin politics out of cricket..But, tis is de first time I saw a political party makin cricket out of politics..They said 'Team BJP is de winner n Narendra Modi is de Man of The Match..Lal Krishna Advani is de Man of The Series'..Wow..I'm happy tat atleast these guys dint lose their minds after winnin de election n throw away careless words..Instead they seemed quite nice wit their sense of humor..Gud for them..

Then I decided to do sumthin useful wit de hrs left for de day..One of my classmates, residin at Anna Nagar, claims tat Anna Nagar holds de upper hand wen it is compared wit my Mylapore..ok ok..I understand..Stop laughin..Even I was laughin out lik tat..Almost burst my stomach..As a gud Mylaporean, I decided to go out to sum of de best hangouts in Mylapore, take a snap of each of these of places..Not alone hangouts..I also decided to go to sum of de most renown places..Dressed up wel..Tuk a Digi-cam..Put it in a bag n made myself luk lik a newly appointed Reporter..:D..hehe..Went to my sister's place to ve my brunch befpre I kick off wit de day's work..My skool, where I was skooled til my 10th class, was on de way to my sister's place..P.S.Senior Secondary School..One of de best skools in de country tat is known for its ability to produce intelligent n dazzling students..Even my nephew n niece r studyin there now..Unfortunately, I was denied permission to take a snap of de skool's entrance by standin jus outside de gate..Seems I shud get de Principal's permission..Goin to my gud old skool tomoro once again..Went to my sister's place to ve my brunch, since mom woke up late n she had not prepared anythin yet..After I reached my sister's place, I found it was de same in de case of my lazy sister..She made me dosas immediately..Ate wel..Energetically went out to start my job..I AM ON A MISSION.......hehe..Decided to go to de places tat wud lie within a 3km radius, takin Mylai as de center..

Started wit a juice shop at Alwarpet tat is quite famous in my area..Got de permission frm de owner..Tuk a snap of it along wit de workers in de frame..They seemed happy since they found me attachin certain degree of significance to their profession..

Then went to a chat shop very close to de juice shop..Got de permission..Got a snap..

Entered a modern eat-out called Cafe Carnival..Got it snapped..then I got few info abt their shop n sum of de spl items served there..de cost range n all other stuffs..

Then visited a place called RedE at Alwarpet..

US pizza, a small but popular pizza inn, was jus opposite to tis eat-out..But unfortunately, I cudn't meet de manager to get his permission for he wasn't there wen I went..

Change of direction..Wen towards Nungambakkam..2km frm my place, one wud find Freezone..A North Western frontier food restaurant called Kabul was closer to tis kool hangout..Very close to tis restaurant is sumthin called Kulfi Corner..

Frm there, I went in a direction opposite to Nungambakkam to find de Hot breads n Arun unlimited shop..Lucky me!!! They had arranged de food stuffs in such a beautiful manner tat made me slobber..hmmm..

I proceeded wit de task n decided to go to Nageswara Rao Park, hardly a km frm my place..De gates were closed n chained..Tuk a snap of de board ousted outside de park..


Left tat place..It had been 3hrs since I started snappin pics of these hangouts..I decided to go back home n ve meal..Then did I realize how poor my memory is n I felt lik slappin myself..I forgot de age old Kapaleeswarar temple n de famous Mylapore tank..Went to tat temple n tuk a shot of de board tat said 'Thirumailai'..Then a snap of de huge water tank filled fith 1000s of fishes..

Almost reached de end of de day's job..Stil left wit one most prominent place wich roped in more fame to Mylapore..The majestic Ramakrishna Math Universal Temple..Its architecture makes one wonder how old de buildin wud be..Believe me..Its a modern architecture tat is jus less than 10yrs old, though Swami Vivekananda's house has been there for de past 105yrs....A massive, tall n bright structure one might find after enterin Mylapore is tis Universal Temple..My dear fren frm Anna Nagar, come here n get ur brains enlightened..lol..Got de permission frm de so called security n tuk a snap..there ends my job for de day..:D

Know wat?? at all these places, de branch managers know me as a member of Mylapore blogger community..De fact is tat such a community doesn't exist at all..Also, wen they asked me de reason for takin snaps of their shops, I told them tat very soon Mylapore Festival is to celebrated n tat v (Members of Mylapore Blogger Community) r involved in an effort to take de image of Mylapore to great heights by creatin a blog dedicated to Mylapore, The Entertainment Hub of Chennai City, so tat even those who cudn't mark their presence at de festival cud understand its significance thro de blog..Really plannin to create a blog tat wud contain all these pics..Mylapore festival is really gonna take place at de beginnin of 2008..In de very 1st week of Jan hopefully..

Got so many other places in my mind..De lovely n world famous Marina Beach, Citi Center, Vegheson Bakery, wich is de oldest of its kind in n around Mylapore, MRTS railway service n de famous Mylapore aunty's shop..precisely, Mylapore Mami kadai..How can one forget de way she prepares food stuffs?? they wud taste really really really gud..though she is nomore now..:(..No matter wat happens, de show must go on..Thanx to her sons..

Came home..had my meal..Played wit de kittens for sumtime..I thought even de kittens were playin wit me..But de kittens kept mewin all de time..Then I slept at 4.p.m..had a nice sleep..Woke up at 10.p.m..Now bloggin..

Wit tis full stop, my day comes to an end..Merry Christmas to all...May Santa giv me all de gifts tat u r supposed to receive..N may Santa giv my Anna Nagar fren all de brain tat she needs..lol..Happy Christmas..Gud nyte..Ve a great day..
